GWINNETT MARRIAGE & FAMILY COLLABORATIVE
Connecting Organizations. Coordinating Resources. Strengthening Families.
No single organization can meet every need facing marriages and families.
The Gwinnett Marriage & Family Collaborative, an initiative of Fully Committed Christian Ministries International, Inc. (FCCMI), is being developed to connect churches, ministries, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, service providers, and other stakeholders around a shared commitment to strengthening marriages and families throughout Gwinnett County.
The Collaborative creates a framework for organizations with different missions and areas of expertise to build relationships, share information and resources, strengthen referral connections, identify service gaps, and explore opportunities for coordinated community action.
We do not have to do the same work to work toward the same goal.
WHY THE COLLABORATIVE MATTERS
Families Often Need More Than One Kind of Support
The challenges affecting marriages and families rarely exist in isolation. A family experiencing relationship stress may also be navigating food insecurity, housing instability, financial pressure, parenting concerns, employment challenges, grief, or difficulty finding trusted community resources.
Gwinnett County already has churches, ministries, nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and service providers doing important work in many of these areas.
The opportunity is to strengthen the connections between them so families can more easily find appropriate resources and organizations can better understand the services available throughout the community.
CONNECT
Build relationships among organizations serving marriages, families, and communities.
COORDINATE
Improve awareness of available programs, services, resources, and referral opportunities.
IDENTIFY GAPS
Recognize unmet or emerging needs and explore where collaboration can expand community support.
HOW THE COLLABORATIVE WORKS
Different Organizations. Shared Commitment. Coordinated Action.
The Gwinnett Marriage & Family Collaborative is designed to create practical connections among organizations while allowing each participant to maintain its own mission, identity, leadership, and area of expertise.
Participation does not require organizations to provide the same services. Instead, the Collaborative creates opportunities to understand who is doing what, what resources are available, where families can be referred, and where opportunities for greater coordination may exist.
RELATIONSHIPS
Build trusted connections among churches, ministries, nonprofits, agencies, service providers, and community leaders.
RESOURCE SHARING
Increase awareness of programs, services, educational opportunities, community resources, and other forms of support available to families.
REFERRAL CONNECTIONS
Help participating organizations better understand where individuals, couples, and families may be connected when needs fall outside their own services.
COLLABORATIVE ACTION
Identify opportunities for organizations to work together on education, outreach, community events, resource development, and other shared priorities.
FROM CONVERSATION TO COLLABORATION
Building on the Ministers’ Roundtable
FCCMI’s inaugural Ministers’ Roundtable created a space for pastors, ministry leaders, nonprofit organizations, community representatives, and other stakeholders to meet, build relationships, share perspectives, and discuss the needs affecting marriages and families throughout Gwinnett County.
The Gwinnett Marriage & Family Collaborative carries those relationships forward by creating an ongoing framework for connection, resource sharing, referrals, and coordinated community action.
Together, this work supports FCCMI’s broader Community Marriage Initiative—our effort to expand marriage and family education, strengthen community connections, increase awareness of available resources, and help families access appropriate support.

WHAT PARTICIPATION CAN LOOK LIKE
Collaboration Without Losing Your Organization’s Identity
Organizations can participate in ways that align with their mission, capacity, expertise, and the communities they serve.
The goal is not to create another layer of bureaucracy. It is to make it easier for organizations to know one another, communicate, share resources, make appropriate referrals, and work together when opportunities align.
SHARE RESOURCES
Keep the network informed about programs, services, events, educational opportunities, and resources available to individuals and families.
MAKE & RECEIVE REFERRALS
Develop stronger referral connections so organizations can help people find appropriate services when needs extend beyond their own programs.
JOIN COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS
Participate in Roundtables, Collaborative meetings, working conversations, and other opportunities to identify needs and exchange information.
COLLABORATE ON OPPORTUNITIES
Explore joint education, outreach, events, resource development, community initiatives, and other projects when missions and capacity align.
HELP BUILD THE NETWORK
Bring Your Resources, Relationships, and Experience to the Table
The Gwinnett Marriage & Family Collaborative is being built through relationships with organizations and community stakeholders who care about the well-being of marriages and families throughout Gwinnett County.
If your church, ministry, nonprofit organization, agency, business, or professional practice serves individuals and families, FCCMI welcomes the opportunity to learn more about your work and explore how we can stay connected.
You do not have to do everything. Bring what you do well. Together, we can help families find more of what they need.
